Project Quantity Surveyor

Job description 1. Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for infrastructure projects. 2. Analyze drawings and specifications related to roads, utilities, and civil works. 3. Manage tendering processes and evaluate subcontractor quotations. 4. Monitor project budgets, cost variations, and cash flow. 5. Prepare interim valuations, progress payments, and final accounts. 6. Assess variations, claims (including EOT), and change orders. 7. Ensure compliance with contract conditions (FIDIC preferred). 8. Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and site engineers. 9. Prepare detailed cost reports and financial updates. Skills 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. 2. Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure/civil projects. 3. Proven experience in roads, drainage, sewerage, utilities, or similar works. 4. Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, and contract administration. 5. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is an advantage. 6. Proficiency in MS Excel and QS software (AutoCad, CostX, PlanSwift, Rivet, etc.). 7. Ability to interpret civil and infrastructure drawings. 8. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
