Equation Developer

Job description Job Description VAM Systems is currently looking forEquation Developerfor our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions: Experience Required: Years of Experience 7 - 10 years • Strong development experience in RPGLE, CL, SQLRPG, designing display files (screens), sub files, reports and physical files. • Strong knowledge of AS400 commands into how to deal with files, objects, and queries. • Excellent knowledge of Equation Core Banking (back-end files, data management, EOD cycle, programming skills with Equation APIs and User exits). • Experience in following a structured SDLC process and change/release management and control. • Knowledge/skills in developing interfaces/extracts/reports and integration with third party systems. • Hands on experience in designing/developing/implementing solution on EQUATION core banking system. • Must have Banking / Financial Services experience. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions using IBM Integration technologies. • Integratecore banking systems with digital channels or external APIs via APIs and messaging platforms. • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of middleware components. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements. • Develop and maintain microservices architecture for seamless system communication. • Monitor and troubleshoot middleware performance and availability. Ensuring secure development practices. • Implement CI/CD pipelines for middleware deployment and updates. • Document integration flows, technical specifications, and support procedures.
