On behalf of our client, we are seeking to hire a General Manager to join their team in Jeddah.
Responsibilities
Role and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement the company's strategic plans and
objectives.
• Conduct market research, identify business opportunities,
and assess potential risks.
• Create and execute strategies to achieve sustainable
growth and profitability.
2. Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including
expansion into new markets and customer segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients,
and suppliers.
• Lead negotiations for major contracts, tenders, and
partnerships.
3. Operational Management:
• Provide overall leadership and direction to all
departments within the organization.
• Ensure effective implementation of operational policies,
procedures, and quality standards.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to
measure operational efficiency.
4. Financial Management:
• Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial
objectives are met.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare
financial reports, and present findings to the executive team.
5. Stakeholder Management:
• Represent the company in external meetings, conferences,
and industry events.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with
government authorities, industry associations, and community stakeholders.
Requirements
• Extensive
experience (typically 10+ years) in the hospitality supplies and hotel
equipment industry, with a proven track record of success in leadership and
management roles
• Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of
financial management principles.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with
the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving
abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and
verbal.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
