Technical Management
• Lead and coordinate all technical activities across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Review and approve technical documents, drawings, specifications, and design changes.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Resolve technical issues impacting project progress and quality.
• Manage technical interfaces between internal disciplines and external stakeholders.
Claims & Contractual Management
• Identify potential claims related to delays, disruptions, scope changes, and cost impacts.
• Prepare detailed claim submissions including narratives, delay analysis, and cost substantiation.
• Conduct forensic schedule analysis (e.g., Time Impact Analysis, Delay Analysis).
• Evaluate contractor claims and prepare responses or counterclaims.
• Participate in negotiations with clients, contractors, and third parties.
• Ensure all claims comply with contractual terms and legal requirements.
Project Controls & Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of technical decisions, correspondence, and change events.
• Coordinate with planning and cost control teams to validate claim impacts.
• Ensure proper documentation of variations, change orders, and technical deviations.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and contractual reporting.
Risk & Issue Management
• Identify technical and contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain risk registers and escalate critical issues when required.
• Support dispute resolution processes including mediation or arbitration.
Stakeholder Coordination
• Act as the primary technical and claims interface with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Facilitate technical review meetings, claim workshops, and negotiation sessions.
• Ensure alignment and clear communication across all project stakeholders.
Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related) & Law.
• 7–12 years of experience in technical project management and claim management within EPC, construction, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and project control tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
