About the Role:
The General Manager – Hotels and Suppliers based in Jeddah will lead and oversee all supply chain and procurement activities for our hospitality portfolio. This role demands strategic leadership to optimize supplier partnerships, drive cost efficiencies, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional service standards across multiple hotel properties.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain and procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favorable terms, service levels, and compliance with company policies.
Oversee end-to-end procurement processes including supplier selection, purchase orders, delivery tracking, and performance evaluation.
Collaborate with hotel operations, finance, legal, and compliance teams to enforce regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and inventory optimization.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain and procurement team.
Monitor market trends, assess new sourcing opportunities, and drive innovation in supplier management.
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement metrics, budget forecasts, and operational KPIs to senior leadership.
Skills
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain and procurement, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the hospitality sector.
Technical expertise with ERP and procurement software systems.
Proven track record in complex contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
Deep understanding of inventory management, logistics, and supplier risk assessment.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or MBA with a focus on supply chain or procurement.
Certification such as CPSM, CIPS, or APICS.
Experience working in the Middle East hospitality market, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
Familiarity with Saudi regulatory and compliance standards.
Proficiency in Arabic.
