Job description Role Overview The Installation Projects Manager is responsible for managing and executing all aluminium installation works on-site, from coordinating with the factory and design teams through to final project handover. The role involves full supervision of installation teams and ensuring all aluminium systems (doors, windows, facades, and glass systems) are installed with precision, in accordance with drawings and specifications, and on time. The goal is to ensure quality of on-site execution, minimise errors and rework, and deliver a seamless client experience that reflects Alumar's standard of professional execution. Key Responsibilities *1. Installation Project Management* • Full supervision of all aluminium installation works on-site • Prepare daily and weekly installation schedules aligned with the project plan • Coordinate with the factory to ensure materials are ready and supplied on time • Monitor on-site progress and ensure adherence to the project timeline • Manage installation teams and contractors to ensure efficient execution • Resolve any on-site issues or obstacles promptly and effectively *2. Internal Coordination* • Coordinate consistently with the design team to ensure clarity of execution drawings • Review drawings and technical details before installation begins • Coordinate with the production department to ensure manufacturing meets site requirements • Communicate with project management to ensure smooth workflow *3. Quality & Technical Supervision* • Ensure all aluminium works are executed to the highest quality standards • Supervise installation of doors and windows, curtain wall and facade systems, glass systems • Verify precision of installation including alignment, closure, and insulation • Minimise errors and rework through close monitoring *4. Site Management & Safety* • Oversee all site activities related to aluminium works • Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards on-site • Organise the work environment and maintain site cleanliness • Monitor safe use of equipment and tools • Address any incidents or hazards and take necessary action *5. Client Communication* • Coordinate directly with the client or consultant on-site • Provide regular updates on work progress • Handle client feedback professionally and resolve any concerns • Ensure client satisfaction throughout all installation stages *6. Handover & Project Closure* • Ensure all installation works are completed to specification • Conduct final inspection and verify quality of execution • Formally hand over the project to the client or consultant • Address any final remarks before project closure Performance Expectations • Execute aluminium installation projects to the highest possible quality • Full commitment to project timelines • Minimise errors and rework to the lowest level possible • Effective management of on-site teams • Maintain a professional standard that reflects the Alumar name across all projects Requirements • Minimum 10 years of experience in aluminium installation project management • Candidates with less than 10 years of experience will not be considered Ability to commute/relocate: • Bahrain: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person Skills Technical Skills • Aluminium façade and curtain wall systems installation (unitised and stick systems) • Knowledge of glazing, cladding, and fenestration systems • Reading architectural and shop drawings / fabrication drawings • Familiarity with sealants, structural silicone, and weatherproofing systems • Understanding of thermal and acoustic performance requirements • Knowledge of GCC building codes and façade standards (ASTM, BS, EN) Management Skills • Site supervision and installation team management • Project scheduling and milestone tracking • Subcontractor coordination and management • Quality control inspections and snagging • Health, safety & environment (HSE) compliance on site • Cost monitoring and material procurement coordination Industry & Regional Experience • Minimum 7–10 years in façade or curtain wall installation • GCC project experience strongly preferred • Experience with major façade contractors (Alco, Al Fara'a, Lindner, Permasteelisa, etc.) is a plus Soft Skills • Strong leadership of multicultural site teams • Ability to liaise with consultants, clients, and main contractors • Problem-solving under tight project deadlines • Fluent in English; Arabic or other languages a plus
